Denise has held posts in the N.H.S as a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist Children’s Services and Clinical Specialist Adult aids and adaptations and Clinical Specialist adult mental health. In the USA employed by education authorities. Holds postgraduate qualifications in Sensory Integration level 3, counselling, play based therapy, multi-sensory interventions, autism, attention deficit, seating and assistive technology. Experienced in assessment for intervention planning, legal reports, tribunal appeals, equipment provision and environmental adaptations. Experienced trainer including bi annual training commissioned by Autism Initiatives u.k. on sensory processing differences in Autism and sensory strategies in autism.
